Who could not adore you? (Class: Grace)

No one knows what is taught to the children taken through the bronze doors of the Temple of the Graces. Nor does anyone know where they go all those years later when they finally leave as women, flitting away in their multicolored splendor.

The Grace¹

You are a woman.²
Extra starting items: a silk veil of every conceivable color but cerulean blue and crimson red, each with its own use and circumstance; gold cuff jewelry for the ankles, thighs, wrists, biceps, waist, and neck, all connected by delicate gold chain-links; a silver pin coated in deadly poison that kills in 1d4 hours

A: Autonomy

You can choose whether you wish to be affected by intimidation, seduction, charm, and deceit. You can never be made to feel or do something you do not wish to feel or do.

Further, at any time you can choose to be the most or least prominent person in a group. Should you wish for it, you cannot be ignored. Should you wish otherwise, you can roll reflex to leave any situation without anyone noticing you’re not there for a while after you’ve gone and without anyone knowing where you’ve gone. On a failure, only one is true.

A: Poet-Priestess

You can speak Lemur, the holy language of the Obligators, in which near-all poems and hymns of worship are composed, as well as Lament, the secret song-language of the Graces, which is composed entirely of coded hymn-fragments and dance moves, intelligible only during performance.

You know all of the hymns of praise and lament and can flawlessly recite the histories of the world. When performing a hymn for an audience, your performance inspires whatever emotion you intend it to; you can stoke crowds to a frenzy or quell riots. You have a [templates]-in-6 chance of knowing a fact about any person, object, creature, polity, or place so long as it was ever put to verse. You sometimes wonder if all the histories are true.

There will always be food and space for you in any home in the river kingdom, so long as you perform for its inhabitants.

A: Wife of God

Graces are the wives of Lugal and his most devout priestesses. Sex with you is thus as intimate a form of worship of Him as there can be. It is extremely unlikely that any pious Urukite turns down your offer of sex or private intimacy.

It is also thus a sin to cause you bodily harm. So long as you wear your veil, someone that wishes you bodily harm must roll breath to follow through on the desire. Divinities and snakes care not for such a thing as sin; they are above it and outside it, respectively.

B: Adoration

You are pleasing to look at and love. Who could not adore you?

You have an attribute called adoration, which starts at 2. Whenever someone new falls in love with you or considers you a true friend, increase your adoration stat by 1.

When in the intimate company of someone, you can reveal a dire secret (yours or theirs) to roll adoration. On a success, you charm them and then reduce your adoration by 1.³

C: Silken Words

It is impossible to detect when you’re lying and, even if it’s proven false and traced to you, you are given the benefit of the doubt to the furthest degree. Even the most malicious, bald-faced lie possible, stated directly to someone who is staring at proof otherwise, is considered as a meaningful contribution.

If you talk at length with someone intimately—murmured words spaced out between exploratory touches; gentle whispers into an ear that’s had every nerve primed for sensation by soft kisses and sharp nibbles; or even just a quiet conversation while pressed close enough together on the wooden bench that the meat of your upper arms must be peeled apart when eventually you do separate—you learn what they want most in the world, even if they don’t know it themself.

C: Steady Hands⁴

A single prick is all it takes. You gain a +3 bonus to-hit and damage against someone for each of the following truths:

• You are currently in a private, intimate situation with them.
• They think they have a significant advantage over you.
• They trust you completely, in this exact moment.

D: Beloved by All

Anyone with fewer templates than you who watches you dance or hears you sing is charmed by you until they go a day and a night without setting eyes on you or hearing your voice. Those already charmed by you become dominated.⁵ Who could not adore you?

If you spend a season in the intimate company of someone who trusts you completely, you dominate them until the day they die.

It doesn’t fit the visual theme of the setting, but I couldn’t post a class like the Grace without this painting somewhere in the mix.
