the greatest poster in the world

Gloggies 2025 nominations

See Vivanter's post for details.

Best Dungeon Post

Loch's "Broxon House (An Investigation for Sovereign Sea)" is one of the most appealing dungeons to me personally that I have ever read. This is what dungeongaming should be.

I also often rotate Archon's "Those Fragile Bridges (Aclas Hexcrawl)" in my mind, a worthy second place.

Best Class Post

Josie's "Cultivated Dreamers (GLOG Sacred One Adaptation, Arise Ye Wretched)" is so so so so so evocative. If I never get to play one I will wither and die.

Phlox's "Courage and Courage Alone (GLoG class: barbarian)," which birthed the Cloak and Sword bandwagon, also deserves special mention.

Best Monster Post

NBateman's "Beware of Foxes" is a post I cannot stop thinking about. I'm so jealous of how evocative his writing is while simultaneously so laconic.

Louis's "The Unsightly Beast, and the Prince of Dreaming" is the runner-up. Wondrous.

Best Rules Post

Morgan's "Zero Sum Game (A Magic System)" is so chewy. I want to play this!!

the bad doctor has two gorgeous posts that deserve special mention as well: "make better mind pictures" put to words a lot of deeply held beliefs and "the most beautiful woman you've ever seen" put them into practice. The smartest most talented most beautiful woman in the world.

Best Lore Post

Louis's "Sunlight" is a post I often find myself returning to to read anew.

Another Louispost is runner-up: "More Plays—The King of Birds." Please write more plays and please write more terror birds. ty

Best Theory Post

the bad doctor's "the laws of a stolen world and cottonmouth tenor girlhood manifesto" has totally changed the way I think about the hobby.

I don't have a theory runner-up because I was told by my producers that Gokun's "There are no system neutral rangers" is a classpost and not a theorypost and so I can't list it here. that's a lie i don't have producers. but if i did they would say that.

Best Other Post

Gokun's "the Spiceomancy Trading Card Game," obvi.

Runner-up is elmcat's "Mapping the Blogosphere," an impressive project. Grace's love letters are also very touching.
